Worsening of a progressive interstitial lung disease in a patient with adult Still's disease after a novel coronavirus infection

Adult Still's disease is a rare systemic disorder of unknown etiology. Its course often complicated by interstitial pneumonia and fulminant hepatitis. Published data have indicated some common mechanisms inflammation in patients with autoimmune disorders SARS-COV-19. We present clinical case 74-year old female patient long standing, slowly progressive Stills disease, who developed honeycomb lung severe liver injury as major syndromes after novel coronavirus infection. Within 10 months, she increasing dyspnea, fibrous pulmonary abnormalities formation "honeycomb lung" signs failure. Due to late medical referral, these symptoms led the death. According literature, tissue that persist new infection can be both manifestation residual post-covid disease-associated COVID-19-triggered progression. By this example, we intended illustrate key correct diagnosis multiple organ damage persisting irrespective severity injury. Such indicate need assess immunological markers exclude an exacerbation or onset. Clinicians should aim at rapid timely initiation specific therapy.
